1. Do I need to know how to swim to take surf lessons?

Answer: While basic swimming skills are helpful, you don’t need to be a strong swimmer to take surf lessons with us. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you’re safe and comfortable. If you’re new to swimming, we recommend taking some swimming lessons first, but many beginners learn to surf without extensive swimming experience.

2. What should I wear for my surf lesson?

Answer: We provide wetsuits and surfboards as part of your lesson. Depending on the water temperature, you’ll be fitted with the appropriate wetsuit for warmth and comfort. Underneath, you can wear a swimsuit or something similar that you’re comfortable moving in. Be sure to bring sunscreen and a hat if you’re prone to sunburn!

3. What’s the age limit for surf lessons?

Answer: We offer lessons for surfers of all ages! Our beginner and group lessons are great for kids, teens, and adults. We also offer family surf lessons for a fun and active day out together. Children under 8 years old should be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the water. Please contact us for information about age-appropriate lessons.

Answer: Absolutely! We love introducing newcomers to surfing. Our Beginner’s Wave Starter Package is specifically designed for first-time surfers. Our friendly and experienced instructors will teach you everything from the basics of paddling to catching your first wave, all in a safe and supportive environment.

6. Can I rent a surfboard without taking a lesson?

Answer: Yes! We offer surfboard and wetsuit rentals for those who prefer to surf independently. However, we recommend taking at least one lesson to get familiar with the basics and ensure a safe experience. Our instructors will be happy to offer tips and guidance on improving your surfing once you’ve rented equipment.

7. How do I book a surf lesson or package?

Answer: Booking a lesson is easy! Simply visit our Book Now page or contact us directly via phone or email. You can select the type of lesson or package that suits you and choose the time and date that works best for you. We’ll confirm your booking and get you ready for an exciting surf experience!

8. What if the weather or ocean conditions are bad on the day of my lesson?

Answer: Your safety is our top priority. If conditions are not suitable for surfing (for example, dangerous waves, strong winds, or heavy rain), we will either reschedule your lesson or offer a full refund. We’ll always notify you in advance if there’s any change to your booking due to weather conditions.

9. Do you offer surf camps or group lessons?

Answer: Yes! We offer both surf camps and group lessons. Our surf camps are multi-day programs designed to accelerate your learning, while our group lessons provide a fun, social atmosphere for families, friends, or corporate teams. 10. What’s included in the lesson price?

Answer: The price of your surf lesson includes the surfboard, wetsuit, and expert instruction. We also provide any additional equipment needed for your safety, such as leashes. If you’re booking a surf camp or private lesson, the package will also include video analysis, beach activities, or other extras as specified.
